I had the honor of creating the opening title sequence for Pause Festival in Melbourne, Australia, in collaboration with the team at Syndrome Studio. With complete creative freedom, we developed a surreal visual world that explored the festival’s theme, “everything is connected,” through a living, evolving art installation. The design process centered on transforming each facet of the festival - startups, motion, gaming, web, and creativity - into a collection of tactile 2D and 3D sculptures that interact, merge, and build upon one another to create a unified visual language. Combining custom footage, intricate CG elements, editing, and visual effects, we created a richly layered animation that celebrates the interconnected nature of creativity and technology.
