Inspired by the gritty, handmade aesthetic of early punk rock posters, DIY zines, and photocopied flyers, I designed and animated the cast reveal teaser for Netflix’s Wendell & Wild, the delightfully twisted stop-motion fantasy from Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, and director Henry Selick. The creative process centered on translating the film’s raw spirit into motion by layering torn paper textures, distressed typography, collage-inspired compositions, and kinetic animation. Every frame was designed to feel tactile and handcrafted, capturing the film’s rebellious personality while building excitement for the cast reveal.
