A short piece that grew out of a series of time lapse sequences I shot .

I shot this from the Arts District, facing west toward DTLA with 70-180mm and 150-500mm lenses. I love shooting with telephoto lenses, picking off details to create mini compositions out of a larger scene. The edit and color treatment were done in Resolve with overlay graphics in After Effects. The audio was created on mostly Roland hardware - a TR-8S, TB-03, and MC-707 - along with an Erica Synths DB-01 Bassline that I recorded straight into my phone and then cut up in Resolve to make the track.
